Constipation.: It is not unusual to have trouble with frequency of bowel movements after a diarrheal illness. It sometimes can take a week or two for your bowel movements to normalize. I would recommend that you eat more fiber for now, and consider a fiber supplement once a day, such as Metamucil. You should also increase your fluid intake. Your bowel movements will normalize on their own. Good luck.
