See your Gyn: Common causes of vaginal burning and pain are: 1) an allergic reaction to something, 2) a yeast infection or 3) a herpes outbreak. Azithromycin won't help with any of those. There are other less common causes. Yeast usually itches badly. Herpes is associated by painful ulcerations. Treatment depends on the diagnosis. A gyn doc could tell you what it is with an exam.
