Go to your: doctor and be examined and tested. If your doctor is unable to test you, you can also go to a clinic that has the ability to do so.

Throat culture: Chlamydia as a cause of sore throat(pharyngitis), if it occurs, is rare. If a throat culture shows strep then that's the likely cause of pharyngitis. If the culture shows only chlamydia, then it's possible it could be the cause.
