BMI matters: One's BMI should be between 20 and 25. At 5'8". A weight of 125 gives BMI 19.4. A weight of 160 gives BMI about 24.5. Ideally aim for 135-145 pounds

About 140 Lb: The normal ranges from 125 to 160 lbs. A 15 year-year-old should aim for the lower end. Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco or alcohol in any form.
