Sleep and anxiety: The first issue is to deal with the anxiety. You may have a generalized anxiety disorder and that is treated with psychotherapy, medications or both. Then, if you still have sleep trouble, you should discuss sleep hygiene with your primary care provider. Either way, your provider should be able to point you in the right direction.
