No: Two months after what? If you had a pap that was normal, but was positive for hpv, the current guidelines call for a repeat in 1 year. Your risk of a current cancer is low, but you have to be more concerned about future paps. Discuss your concerns with your gynecologist.

Why ?: If your concern is a serum test for antibodies, the result may change after 2 months if related to a specific exposure, but the issue is over rated. In the pre-vaccine era as many as 70% of college age women were found to be serum positive. Most went on to live an uneventful life.A few were diagnosed early & treated for pre-cancer because they had their pap smears done as recommended
