A member asked:

What muscles do incline and decline muscles work? not sure which one works the upper or lower pictoralis major.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Decline = lower pec: Both the upper pectoralis major ("clavicular head") and lower pectoralis major ("sternal" head) will be activated with any chest pressing exercise. Recent research suggests that the upper portion is worked relatively equally regardless of angle, but the lower portion might be emphasized with a 15 degree decline.
