A member asked:

My brother gets shocked by many things he touches, he even gets shocked by the kitchen sink. do you know why he's always getting shocked.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Static: Your brother is getting shocked because of static electricity that builds up on the outside of his body. When he touches an object that is grounded, the electricity discharges and he gets a shock. Does he drag or shuffle his feet? This could cause increased static buildup. This is a common occurrence and it is harmless.
