Tubal ligation: The cervix being high, firm, and closed is normal, except during labor. A tubal ligation often results in menstrual irregularity which can begin any time after the tubal. The failure rate of tubal ligation is ~2% (much higher than expected). You should do a pregnancy test. If positive, see a doctor ASAP. There is a higher rate of ectopic pregnancy after tubal ligation.
