Blood and mucous: If you had sex after you period and then saw this then it was most likely a mixture of old blood, cervical mucous and semen. Intercourse just allowed it to come out. If you feel your discharge is not normal then schedule a visit for testing and an examination

Normal, mostly.: Probably coincidence with the time of your cycle. It is mucous of midcycle hormonal effect. But watch for pain, smell, itching etc. If those develop, go to your gynecologist for more evaluation.
