Is friend a doc?: If you keep getting regular injections of B12, you will not have any disease due to deficiency of B12 per se. The underlying cause of B12 deficiency is more important in determining what other issues may arise. Since you are seeing a doctor for B12 injections you should discuss your concerns with her/him.
