Constipation: Most likely the problem is that you are not taking in enough fiber and water in your diet. Most people in the USA eat only about 10-12 grams of fiber per day, while the recommendations are to eat 20-25 grams daily. Also, if you are not drinking enough water, you could be dehydrated, causing the colon hold onto water, leaving behind hard small stools. Try a high fiber diet and drink more water.
