It could be: Appendicitis causes persistent steady pain in the right lower quadrant. The pain tends to steadily get worse until the appendix ruptures. Your month long history of illness is not typical for appendicitis. If you pain comes and goes and changes location that is also not typical of appendicitis. I recommend seeing a gastroenterologist.
