Water weight?: Wondered the same thing myself...... Most of the weight in body is indeed water therefore water weight. But water remains in body only because of influence of salt - sodium in particular. If you eat a large amount of salt,you will retain water. Certain hormones can cause sodium retention as well. Taking a diuretic or eating a low salt diet can reduce water weight.
