A member asked:

Can you have headache and throat infamacion if you are infected by h.pylori ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

H. pylori: H. pylori is a bacterium that can live in the stomach. It is a local infection in that it doesn't cause problems outside the upper GI tract. It can cause ulcers or even stomach cancer, but not a headache. Throat inflammation could be due to acid reflux, but H. pylori is not felt to cause that.
