Probably not: Yes, Epstein Barr virus (EBV, the cause of infectious mono) persists in the body, probably for life, after the initial infection. However, it rarely causes any further problem, except rarely in people who get certain cancers, organ transplants, or otherwise need potent immune suppressiing drugs. Your tiredness probably has nothing to do with your past mono. But see your doctor if it continues.
