Most exercises ok.: Most heart murmurs are benign and will not be a factor in most exercises if there are no signs of chest pain, swelling or shortness of breath. It is always a good rule of thumb to have a good physical exam by your physician before starting any exercise program. It will allow the murmur to be evaluated to determine if more testing is warranted.
