Same as anyone: To answer your question, I am making a couple of assumptions. First, you were properly diagnosed and treated for Lyme disease. Second, you haven't suffered any permanent complications from Lyme disease. Proper treatment of on-going medical problems, staying active and engaged and maintaining a healthy weight are the keys to living well for all of us.

Treatment?: If you were treated 9 years ago, then you likely killed off most if not all of the bacteria and this will not affect you long term much at all. However, there are a small number of people who deal with long term after effects of the infection that can be difficult to treat. But I am not finding any studies that say this effects the length of your life. Hope this helps.
