I am 2 days late, for my fairly regular cycle. i have had mild cramps, i keep expecting my period. but it does not come. is it time to test? or wait?

Go ahead: if you are cramping, you are likely about to start yor period--but pregnancy tests are cheap and accurate---and you can repeat in a few days if you still haven;t started. Oh-and use Tylenol (acetaminophen) for discomfort until you know for sure--you dont want to use NSAID pain meds.
