More info needed: The differential diagnosis is broad. I would recommend that you see your doc to examine you further. It could be anything from an infected hair follicle (which can sometimes itch) vs other disease processes.

Herpes?: The first issue that was should be considered is herpes. Unless these are pustules and there is redness in the area suggesting cellulitis then this would be the most likely dx. You should show your doctor to get a confirmatory dx. consider yourself contagious and do not have sex in the interim. Best wishes.
