Surgery july 31 2014 and a pe aug 18 2014 i'm still having shortness of breath pain tired a lot what should i be asking my dr to ensure best outcome?

Large clot?: Was the PE large? For most people, the severity of your symptoms correlate with the amount of "clot burden". The greater the size and number of clots, the worse your symptoms and outcome. At this point I would see your doctor for an evaluation. May need a CT scan of your lungs to see how your lungs are healing.

Mgt and work up: There may be many causes of shortness of breath, including PE. I would suggest asking whether you are low risk for a PE. If you have cardiac problems, further evaluation by your cardiologist may be considered.
