Probably: The hyperhidrosis with odor (probably) since you describe as unilateral (only one armpit) may have many causes. The immobilization of that arm (after surgery) it is the more likely cause,not the block. Some bacterias have grown there and you need to check them out. Antimicrobial liquid soap (Dial)will take care of the problems. The block effects are gone when the containing medicine wears off.
