Here are some...: Why & how long did you have indwelling catheter? Generally speaking, catheter-related expected discomfort - dysuria, will linger and fade in time but with a widely variable pace among the patients. So, it's worthwhile to wait & see as long as getting better day by day. Besides, always taking antibiotics x 3-5 days & do urinalysis with or without urine culture in 2-3 weeks after catheter removal.
