Don't worry!: Yes, hantavirus lives in droppings and urine from rodents. To get the virus, there must be rodents who live around your house. If there are no rodents, don't worry! Even if there are rodents, it's very unlikely you have contracted hantavirus. If you start to get muscle aches all over your body, see a doctor and tell him or her your concerns. Hantavirus is not common.
