A member asked:

What does enhancement pattern appears homogeneous and no focal signal changes on t2 images of the pituitary mean on a mri report of the pituitary?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pituitary MRI: this is a radiological description of a normal pituitary gland. Homogenous simply means that there are no focal enhancing lesions that would suggest tumor. The pit. gland is highly vascular and readily enhances or "lights up" with IV contrast
