Many factors...: There are many factors involved in the process of getting pregnant. It all depends if the sperm reaches an egg, if the environment at the moment is perfect for this to happen, etc. It may take few months for some people to be able to get pregnant. However, if you get to the point where it is a year or about then it is time to get evaluated for any potential physical problems causing infertility.

Complex Process: Getting pregnant takes a very complex process to work almost perfectly.Using ovulation kits is a great idea to know when you are ovulating. Then trying to have sex every other day for several days once you have ovulated is best time. If after 6 mo of trying and no pregnancy, then time for you and your partner to have a medical evaluation to determine if any problems present preventing pregnancy.
