Have sex: Unless menopause is causing you some adverse side effects in your vaginal area, such as dryness (Atrophic vaginitis), you should be able to enjoy an active, normal sex life. If you have concerns or vaginal dryness or a decreased libido (Sex drive)..then see your GYN Doctor for an evaluation and treatment. Best wishes, and don't forget "50 is the new 30!"

Several things: One issue common in menopause is pain with sex. This is due to dryness and decreased lubrication. This can be overcome with some OTC treatments like Lubrin or replens or can be treated with various estrogen preparations (creams, pills, patches etc) Some women in the menopause will receive testosterone supplementation to help with libido
