Sounds like guilt...: When we do something we know is not wise, we often have a guilty conscience afterward. Guilt can cause us to worry about things that will probably not happen. Herpes usually takes longer to develop, but a throat culture by your doctor is usually taken and may show cause. If it does not clear up, return to your doctor. It is wise to know a sexual partner well enough to know their sexual history
