See ur doc: There are some rather easy ways to determine if yur heart is beating funny (suggestive of a rhythm disorder). An ECG is only about 30 sec of monitoring so it won't like detect a rhythm disorder. A 24-48 hr monitoring (Holter) of ur heart, may show it. If it is less frequent an event dectector monitoring (that may last up to a week or more) will definitely detect even an occasional rhythm disorder.
