Menstrual cycle: Primolut is a progestin so in women with no cycles but adequate estrogen it can induce a withdrawal period. It will usually not cause one to ovulate (increase chances of pregnancy). Usually in women who do not ovulate (as reflected by no period) we have to use clomiphene or other meds to help them ovulate
