Neurologist: You should consult a neurologist. You may be having a photic sensitive migraine or brief seizure. An EEG may help answer what is happening.

Time for evaluation: The pattern could mean several things that are treatable. I suggest you talk with your doc about getting an EEG. This sounds like absence seizures which could be dangerous if they occur when you drive, swim, etc. Get in and find out.
