Re-check for STDs: Hmmm..... Something doesn't compute. Colored vaginal discharge (brown, yellow, green, etc) definitely isn't normal and often means infection, including STDs like gonorrhea and chlamydia; and either of these could cause pelvic pain that can be accentuated by intercourse. Recheck with your doctor or consider getting a second opinion. Your partner(s) should also be checked for STDs. Good luck!
