Why is it when i take magnesium with my calcium at night i don't get that relaxation effect they say everyone should? i practice good sleep hygine.

Sleep: i do not think the calcium is effecting the magnesium. You should not expose yourself to light from devices for a couple of hours before going to sleep ( ie. Computer screen, cell phone, IPAD screen, television). No stimulants after 12 non (ie caffeine). Avoid alcohol within two hours of bedtime. Eat dinner at a couple of hours before bedtime.
