Good work up: The spinal tap should have included an opening pressure that is measured with you lieing on your side. Some tests are also run on the spinal fluid to look for infection. The MRI should include an MRV to check for any brain clots. An ophthalmologist should check for buried optic disc drusen with an ultrasound. Diamox (acetazolamide) is only for when the spinal tap shows high opening pressure. Good luck.
