Great question : Adderall can increase your heart rate and your blood pressure. Buspar (buspirone) has fewer cardiovascular side effects. I once treated a tennis professional who had to stop Adderall because of it's impact on her heart rate during exercise. Safety of medication has to be assessed by your doctor over time. Talk to your doctor if you are experiencing any side effects. Best wishes!

Adderall/Buspar: If you have no heart problems to begin with, you should be ok. If exercise & your heart rate goes up, slow down.
