Theoretically yes.: Because its mechanism of action involves both Dopamine and serotonin, there could be an affect upon blood pressure and heart rate, and there have been reports of palpitations in patients on buspar (buspirone). However, the cardiovascular effects have been judged to be not serious. In a given individual, were one to note symptoms, they should be assessed by ones doctor.
