A member asked:

Father has pain in stomach shoots to his head doctors cannot find problem don't tests. any idea?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Nondiagnostic: More information is needed in order to make a diagnosis. Usually abdominal discomfort doesn't radiate to the head. A thorough history and physical examination is required for diagnosis and after that assessment, appropriate tests will be ordered. If abdominal discomfort is the primary symptom, consult a gastroenterologist. If head pain is more of a problem, consult a neurologist.
