Not HIV: The rash of a new HIV infection is not pimple-like, and occurs along with fever, sore throat, lymph node enlargement, etc. Three weeks is too long for onset of new herpes and HIV doesn't cause cold symptoms like stuffy nose or cough. If you remain worried, visit the Public Health STD clinic at Harborview (which I used to direct) to check out your symptoms and herpes, and maybe HIV testing.
