Colposcopy: A colpocopy is a procedure using a large microscope (colposcope) to visualize your cervix, to identify any suspicious lesions or abnormal color changes after applying vinegar to the area. If abnormal appearing areas are seen, then ur clinician will likely obtain a very small biopsy (tissue sample) to send to the lab for further evaluation for precancerous cells. Take Ibuprofen or Naproxen prior.
