RecommendedNotNeeded: All travelers 9 months of age or older are recommended to have yellow fever vaccine but entry from Us will not be refused Entry requirement requires proof of yellow fever vaccine if you are travelling to Kenya from a country with high risk of yellow fever So it is recommended but not needed travel from USA

Kenya: "Recommended for all travelers greater than nine months of age, except that those whose itinerary is limited to the North Eastern Province; the states of Kilifi, Kwale, Lamu, Malindi, and Tanariver in the Coastal Province; and the cities of Mombasa and Nairobi, need the vaccine only if at risk for a large number of mosquito bites."
