Altered immunity?: Recurrent bacterial infections first need to be defined: how often, associated conditions or causes, past treatments, etc. Depending on the organism, identified causes & past medical history and a good physical examination your doctor may recommend altered habits and/or do tests evaluating the function of your immune system: blood counts, immunoglobulins, WBC function tests, radiographs, culures.
