Not necessarily: It is difficult to say. Depending on the size and location of the scar and type of procedure performed for revision. If the scar was simply excised and closed it would be unusual to still be significantly sore 8 weeks later. Best to discuss with the surgeon that revised the scar. There may be a small nerve nearby or inflammation of the scar from a reaction to the sutures, etc.
