Genetics and drugs: there several of genetic variations of the long-QT syndrome and testing is available for some, though often not necessary. Unfortunately many drugs/medicines can cause QT prolongation as well. Depending on the severity, treatment maybe needed. I would advise consulting doc. Good luck
