Not by itself.: Most things, when experienced in moderation, don't do damage, and if so, allow for recovery because, well, they're don in moderation. When taken to extreme, including ballet, most things have a negative impact. Stereotypes aside, practice but not to the point of hurting yourself, either physically or emotionally. Diet and sleep should be normalized, as with any exercise plan. Instructor?
