It depends on: how well someone performs academically. When some1 is successful, it improves mental health; when they have difficulty, it can harm their self esteem and leads 2 poor mental health. It is therefore important 2 help children find their areas of strength both in academics and extracurricular interests. In that way, even if some subjects R difficult they will not define themselves by their weaknesses
