No: Children with well balanced diets do not require multivitamin supplements, however children do require sufficient vitamin D and calcium which many do get from multi-vitamin supplements. Many children are now vitamin D deficient and require additional vitamin D as adults do. Fluoride supplementation is also recommended if not in the water supply in your area.
