What are the spine joints called?

Disc and facet: Each motion level in the spine has three joints: 2 are facet joints and are located in the back, one is the disc space in the front. The facet joints are a "true" synovial joint like the knee and hip an has a joint capsule and synovial fluid. The disc space acts like a joint by allowing motion to occur, but is not a synovial joint.
