Get examined: I have had patients with similar symptoms - due to either a herpes outbreak, urticaria (hives), or eczema, none of which are serious. See your clinician when you have these symptoms so they can examine your buttock for possible diagnostic clues as to the cause, and to prescribe appropriate treatment. Take Care!
