No changes?: Generally if you have a skin lesion for 10 years without any change in size or appearance it is likely nothing to worry about. However sometimes a basal cell skin cancer can have a shiny pearly appearance and can grow slowly. If it bothers you at all it would be easy to remove and test it to be sure. If it doesn't bother you keep a close watch for any changes or have your MD look at it.
