Recommend 7 days: from the start of taking the antibiotic before engaging in sexual activities. When you say "pretty much gone", that's not very reassuring. Make sure you don't rush back into the activity which gave you a UTI in the first place. If you still have symptoms, you will need a swab culture to make sure the right antibiotic was selected. Wear a condom and you will reduce your risk significantly!
